THE ITEM
A vase of elegant and simple charm. The base glaze has been intentionally crackled and overlaid with a hand painted blue decor of Chrysanthemums and flora, and finished with a slim brown band on the rim.
The form is a tall and well balanced classic Baluster shape and makes a great alternative to an otherwise highly ornate or plain vase.
A BIT OF HISTORY
Unfortunately it has not been possible to trace the provenance on this vase.
CONDITION
Very good, there are no unintentional chips, cracks or scratches, the glaze also has natural crazing, commensurable with vintage condition of piece - please see photos as part of condition report. The base of the vase is inscribed with the symbol 'official'.
