A BIT OF HISTORY
The history of Amano by Scheurich is not extensively documented however, it is known that Scheurich produced ceramics under Amano. Particularly in the context of mid-century modern designs, such as the oxblood red vases, which were popular during the 1950s to 1970s.

Scheurich itself was founded in 1928 and began producing ceramics in 1948. The company became well-known for its high-quality ceramics, often featuring distinctive glazes which remain highly sought after today.
