THE ITEM
This chic, Modernist piece is of handblown art glass by AV glassworks of Empoli, Italy.
The tall, elegant pitcher form carries subtle details demonstrating the skill and craftsmanship applied during production. Details such as the adapted 'Jack in the Pulpit' rim, the slender neck and the accentuated bulb - all of which is complemented by refined handle and base.
The white Opaline glass is opaque and the translucency allows the vase to glow when in sunlight, superbly offsetting the transparent red accents.
