This elegant work of sculpted studio pottery art is from the eighties Memphis design era and is crafted from ceramic Bisque.
Subtle and sensually geometric with an abundance of refined detail, the form can be interpreted as abstract human or blade-like. The matte glaze is gossamer-light, with a single gloss glazed spot in Azure blue. The piece is suspended in a soldered brace which sits in a matte Charcoal grey bisque stand.
Very Good. There is mild wear on the grey bisque stand that is consistent with the age of the piece. Mentioned for completeness: there is a single chip on one side of the sculpture's base which detracts minimally and can only be seen from a few angles. Please refer to photos as they form part of the condition report. The base bears the studio's logo in raised relief.
