THE ITEM
This set of three Mid Century Art Deco pieces brings with them elegant glamour and chic vibes of the La Dolce Vita style of the 1970s.
While many designers of the time tread the fine line between constraint and adornment, others had sought a return to the Art Deco style of opulence. From this, came the La Dolce Vita style and luxuriant handcrafted designs appeared in materials such brass, stainless steel, burled woods, semiprecious stones, leather, goatskin, and velvet.
This set echoes the style of the time, each piece bearing the same softly geometric and lined form that is trimmed and gilded in gold paint. The shimmering iridescent lustre glazes are of cream pearl, sapphire blue and pale blue.
